Owosso MI ghost story

  My name is Jordan.....I am 14 and i live close by Owosso MI. I
usually don't believe in "ghosts" or anything like that but since a few
years ago some things have been happening in my house that I can't
really explain......"ghosts" is the only thing I can think of. I have
lived in the same house all of my life, my parents moved here a few
years before I was born. I have no Idea who built it or who owned it
previously. Anyway, to my stories.......

(1)   When I was about 10 years old was when it all started, I was
sitting in my basement on my computer.....(My computer is a few feet
from the door to our storage room. No one ever goes back there.....I
dont even know whats back there.)...When all of the sudden the handle to
the door that goes back to the storage room started turning then the
door slowly started to open, as fast as I could I ran up the stairs, Not
taking time to shut down the computer, also I knocked quite a few things
over on my way up being so scared. When I got upstairs my mom was
resting in her room, I ran in, I told her what had happened and she
thought I was insane. finnally after about 15 - 20 minutes, I got my
courage back up and went into my basement. When I got down there the
computer was shut off and everything was neat and clean. No one was at
my house besides my mom and I.......No one alive that is.

(2)   When I was 12 I had two friends stay the night. There was not
enough room upstairs..... so we had to stay in our basment. We were all
asleep when we heard what sounded like a loud scream that turned into a
growl coming from the next room. (we were the only people in the
basement) We all quickly got up, looked around, and searched the
basement and upstairs.(everyone still asleep except us) so we went back
to sleep. About an hour later I woke up to a noise in the same room that
we were sleeping in.(It was like a "kreek" noise) I didnt think anything
of it cause i thought it was one of my friends. After about 5 minutes of
hearing the sound I looked to see what it was........I couldnt believe
my eyes! Was I really seeing this?¿? In the corner of the room was
an old rocking chair, and in it there was an old man rocking back and
fourth. The scary part of this was that I could see straight through
him!! I stared in disbelief for a few seconds, then I turned to wake up
my friends, but they were already awake> They were seeing the same thing
that I was. We were scared out of our minds, When the old man turned
into nothing. They have not spent the night since...... and I don't
blame them.

(3)   This story my dad told to me, it happened just a few weeks
ago........That  night he was whatching tv. (in my basement) and he said
that he fell asleep and when he woke up, he felt a presence of someone
standing by him.....He tried to get up, but he was frozen....he couldnt
move, almost like someone was holding him down.The presence got stronger
like someone was right over him, Then it slowly went away and he could
finnally move. He looked around and no one was there. He went upstairs
and everyone else was asleep.

 strange noises, flickering lights, major declines in temperature, and
bad smells have been experienced since.......all coming from the
basement.
