Dad and the Devil I am from Eastern Kentucky, and all of my life I have been fascinated with ghost stories. I have never actually saw one but I have had the eerie feeling that creeps up your spine when you feel eyes watching your ever move. You see my cousin, who is also one of my best friends, lives in an old house built sometime in the 19th century. The house is huge it has three stories, plus an attic. It has two cellars on the outside, under the house there is about two feet of pure space that you can crawl through, plus the land has a creepy coal house and barn. Before her family bought the house an old couple lived there. The man was a doctor and lots of money and everyone looked upon him as a hero of the community. The lady he was married to was sweat, you know just the perfect couple. Well the two had a son. They had a lot of money so they sent him to school so he could make a living. Well eventually the son moved out and the old couple were alone. So once the doctor had talked to a patient who believed in devil worshiping. The doctor had never heard of such and bought books on the subject to learn more. Well the son caught the old man with the books and from that point on wouldn't have anything more to do with him. Well after the couple died the son inherited the house and land. So he decided to rent it out. Well the clothes that belonged to the family are in the attic. Every time my cousin will go to the attack and bother any of the boxed up stuff an old hospital bed will raise up and down (even though its not plugged up) in about 3 hours. She found the books and some old clothes but after the bed did that they won't bother anything. They can put their stuff in the attic and nothing will happen, but when they touch the old garbage bags it all starts. The bed, moving lights, a chain saw sound with no chain saw and so on. A couple of years later they found a coffin in the barn across from the house. They went back to show their mom and it was gone. In about two weeks there was another and it had the imprints of a dead body. Well in two more weeks it was gone. Then the farmer who had bought the barn said he had never heard of such. But nobody knows where the coffins disappeared to. For the family watched the barns day and night and no one ever came. It just disappeared and appeared into thin air!
